Our 13 luxury apartments and the suite are located within an ancient 17th Century rural village near Monteriggioni. They are surrounded by woods, vineyards and hills of the Montagnola Senese national park with breathtaking views of the Chianti Senese hills. The interior and exterior of the village are easily accessible, suitable for our guests with young children as well as guests with mobility needs.
From the farmhouse hilltop you can enjoy the sounds of nature, unforgettable sunsets and breathtaking Tuscan landscapes.

There are many walks and routes to explore the surrounding areas and to be in contact with nature: on foot, by bicycle and of course by car. For those who wish to stay in the farmhouse village, however, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the swimming pool, the dishes of our restaurant, the relaxation of the Roman bath or children can enjoy playing in the play area.

Holiday apartments for groups and families or couples

The holiday apartments near Monteriggioni have various sizes available and are suitable from groups of 6-8 people to couples looking for a romantic weekend. Each apartment in the farmhouse village is finely furnished in traditional Tuscan style and has the comfort of: air conditioning, free Wi-Fi Internet and satellite TVs. Two of our apartments are fully accessible and equipped to accommodate our guests with diverse abilities and mobility needs.

The pool and the Roman bath

All the holiday homes of the Antico Borgo Poggiarello farmhouse have been finely restored from the original existing buildings, including an ancient tower from the year 1000.

Formed from inside an ancient cave, on the lower floor we have a small private tub with water heated to 37 °. The Roman Bath - as we have called it - can be booked and allows you to enjoy a relaxing bath experience. This is just a taste of the 'wellness' options on offer for you that you could enjoy during your stay with us. Other activities include massages that we can organize to suit your wishes and needs.

Moreover, right next to the woods that surrounds the farmhouse there is the large 16 x 9m swimming pool. Here our guests can sunbathe among the olive trees and enjoy swimming from mid April to mid October.

Cooking and baking classes in our restaurant

If relaxing sitting by the pool, or taking walks immersed in nature is not for you we also have cooking and baking classes available for you. These activities are suitable for all ages including children.

Preparing and cooking the typical recipes of Tuscan cuisine gives you satisfaction and it is simple. And in fact, it is well known that the typical Tuscan cuisine is made from mainly genuine ingredients - in our farmhouse, mostly from our neighboring farms - cooked in a traditional way. Our farmhouse in the heart of Chianti is the ideal place to spend some time for yourself in learning in a relaxed environment some recipes to enjoy again once you return home.

If then, instead of cooking you prefer our chef Roberto to do it for you, there is no problem. Our typical restaurant is always available and will welcome you whenever you don't feel like cooking.
